Quick Guide to SquarePlus Online Content Management System(CMS)

New to our online Content Management System (CMS)? Welcome aboard!

We're excited to help you get started with your go-to platform for managing and publishing content seamlessly.

This friendly guide will quickly walk you through the essential steps of logging in, uploading content, and creating solutions for publication. Let’s dive in!


1. Logging In  

Getting started is easy! Here’s how to log into your SquarePlus CMS:  

  1. Open Your Browser and head to the SquarePlus CMS login page at http://cmsn.connectonmarketing.com/

  2. Type in your username and password.

  3. Click on the "Login" button, and voilà! You’re in.

  


2. Uploading Content  

Now that you’re logged in, it’s time to upload some content. Follow these simple steps:

  1. Find the Content Section: On the top bar of your dashboard, look for the "Content" menu.

  2. Click on Upload: You’ll see an "Upload Media" button—go ahead and click it!

  3. Select Your Files: A file dialog will pop up. Choose the media files you want to upload, like images or videos.  
    A file upload process box at the bottom right of the window shows you the progress of your upload.



  4. Add Some Details: After successfully upload your file, click the Edit botton  and fill in the metadata for your files, including the title, and any relevant tags. This helps keep everything organized!


Notes
It is important to upload your content into the content section first, then you can start your journey of creating your solutions.

3. Creating a Solution  

With your content uploaded, it’s time to create a solution for publication.
A Solution is a scheduled program of media to be played on your screen.

  1. Navigate to Solutions: Click on the "Solutions" tab in the left sidebar.

  2. Create a New Solution: Hit the "+ New Solution" button to get started. 
    In the dropdown list, you have 3 options: Regular Solution, Ultra-Long-Screen Solution, and Splicing Screen Solution
    Choose "Regular Solution"


  3. Enter Solution Name, and the resolution of the Solution. If you dont know your resolution, you may also choose directly from the "select Screen" section.

  4. Add Your Content and Schedule Play Time: In the solution editor, simply drag and drop the content you uploaded into the solution area.
    You may also wish to create a page that contain different elements such as image, text, RSS feeds, or even live stream feeds. This will create way more fascinating display effect on your screen.
    Consider each page as a display on your screen.




    On the right section of the page section you can schedule date, time, and expiry date specificly to a page.

  5. Customize Display Settings: you can also adjust settings like display duration and transition effects to make your solution shine.

  6. Save Your Work: Once you’re happy with your solution, click the "Save" button.


4. Publishing Your Solution  

Ready to share your creation with the world? Here’s how to publish your solution:

  1. Once you've done your edditing. Click the "Publish" button on the top right corner of the edittor window;
  2. From the pop-up window choose the screen you wish to publish and click "OK". 
  3. Boom!! here you go. You will receive a confirmation message once your publishing process finishes

In case you closed your edittor window, you can also publish your solution with these easy steps:
  1. Go to the "Solutions" tab on your main window;
  1. In the Solutions tab, find the solution you want to publish. You’ll see a "Publish" button  next to your solution—click it!
  2. Select the screen you wish to publish to and click ok. your solution is live!
Alert
You can only publish ONE solution to be displayed. 
When you publish a new solution to your screen, the old solutoin stored in the screen hardware will replaced by the new solution.
